AS GUEST ARTISTS IN THE SHREVEPORT METROPOLITAN BALLET’S PRODUCTION OF THE NUTCRACKER
ASHLEY BLADE-MARTIN, soloist of Tulsa Ballet Theatre, and ALFONSO MARTIN, principal dancer of Tulsa Ballet Theatre, will appear as guest artists in the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker on December 4 and 5, 2010 at the Riverview Theatre in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Gensho Umewaka, a Noh theater performer, challenged “At the Hawk’s Well”.
The dramaturge is Mansai Nomura. This work is a masterpiece in the dance history with the episode of Yeats and Michio Ito, a famous contemporary dancer in Japan who was active in the west.

Hee Seo Promoted to Soloist with ABT |
|
|
|
Hee Seo is to be promoted to the rank of Soloist with American Ballet Theatre. The promotion, which becomes effective August 2010, was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Hee Seo began her ballet training in her hometown at the Sun-hwa Arts Middle School. She was awarded a three-year full scholarship to continue her training at the Universal Ballet Academy in Washington, D. C.

A l'issue de la représentation de La Bayadère de Rudolf Noureev - au cours de laquelle il interprétait le rôle de Solor - au Palais Garnier, mercredi 2 juin 2010, sur proposition de Brigitte Lefèvre, Directrice de la Danse, Nicolas Joel, Directeur de l’Opéra national de Paris, a nommé Stéphane Bullion, Danseur Étoile de l’Opéra national de Paris.
Stéphane Bullion interprètera le rôle du Mikado aux côtés de Marie-Agnès Gillot dans le ballet de Jiri Kylian Kaguyahime, présenté pour la première fois à l’Opéra Bastille, en alternance du 11 juin au 15 juillet 2010.
