NEW PRAGUE DANCE FESTIVAL and COMPETITION 2011
Edition of the international dance festival NEW PRAGUE DANCE FESTIVAL and COMPETITION 2011, which is a major and unique proof of the fact that every year the dance lovers from all over the world meet in the golden capital and cultural centre par excellence: PRAGUE.
Participants: YOU and DANCE – classic, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, folk; choreography and all forms of performance concerning the dance art.

John Neumeier stated frequently that in his choreographies he creates "movements that are moving" the audience. This emotional approach is typical for the HAMBURG BALLET.

Performances at the Fall for Dance Festival on October 6 & 7
Commission by The New York Choreographic Institute – Evening-Length Premiere at The Joyce Theater in March.
Choreographer Larry Keigwin and KEIGWIN + COMPANY will be performing on October 6 and 7 at New York City Center’s Fall for Dance Festival as part of a 2010-11 season filled with premieres, commissions and special events. The season began in August, when Keigwin was named the first artist in residence of the Vail International Dance Festival and will continue through March with the world premiere of the new evening-length work Dark Habits, during the company’s week-long engagement at The Joyce Theatre in March.
The Göteborg Opera Orchestra – Sunset Boulevard
Master of Musicals Andrew Lloyd Webber visits The Göteborg Opera. In Sunset Boulevard we will hear our great Swedish musical star Gunilla Backman sing the principal role.
When the film Sunset Boulevard was to be filmed in 1950 Greta Garbo was first offered the lead role as Norma Desmond. When the musical with the same name premiered in the US in 1994 Norma was performed by Glenn Close. In The Göteborg Opera production Gunilla Backman, famous for Mamma Mia amongst other musicals, sings the role of faded silent film star.

El Teatro Real retransmite el estreno de su nueva producción de Ascenso y caída de la ciudad de Mahagonny en directo a 127 salas de cine de Europa y América, y a través de Mezzo TV
Una sofisticada coproducción audiovisual entre el Teatro Real, Bel Air y Mezzo TV permitirá retransmitir el estreno de la ópera, el 30 de septiembre, en directo por la cadena de televisión musical francesa y a 127 salas de cine de España, Alemania, Dinamarca, Eslovaquia, Holanda, Hungría, Irlanda, República Checa, Letonia, Luxemburgo, Malta, México, Reino Unido y Rusia.
Eifman Ballet de San Petesburgo en el Auditorio de Palma
