Julio Bocca dirige desde el 1 de junio el Ballet Nacional de Uruguay con sede en el Sodre (Servicio Oficial Uruguayo de Difusión, Radiotelevisión y Espectáculos).
El elenco nacional cumple en noviembre 75 años, pero será renovado totalmente por Bocca, que tiene un plan ambicioso para esta compañía. Uruguay no se había distinguido por un plan de desarrollo de la danza.

Dutch National Ballet’s new production of Giselle has been recorded at Het Muziektheater, Amsterdam in High Definition and Surround Sound, and will be released by NVC Arts/Warner Music Entertainment in February.
Giselle, with choreography by Marius Petipa, (after Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot) is the most celebrated ballet of the romantic era, and a perennial favourite that continues to move audiences all around the world 170 years after it was first performed.
