Mariinsky Theatre ballerina Viktoria Tereshkina has been named a prize-winner at the annual DANCE OPEN International Ballet Festival in the category Ms Virtuosa, which is awarded for ballet soloists’ personal achievements – the combination of a dancer’s virtuoso technique and artistic qualities regardless of the style, genre and trend of the pieces they perform.

Nacho Duato abandona la CND tras 20 años de éxitos
El coreógrafo y bailarín Nacho Duato, que dirige la Compañía Nacional de Danza (CND) desde 1990, ha decidido no firmar la prórroga de un año acordada con Cultura, y ha comunicado que se irá este mes de julio.
"La compañía, tal y como la conocemos, va a desaparecer", enfatizaron los bailarines de la CND a partir de la marcha de Duato "será otra cosa, mejor o peor".
