Dutch National Ballet’s new production of Giselle has been recorded at Het Muziektheater, Amsterdam in High Definition and Surround Sound, and will be released by NVC Arts/Warner Music Entertainment in February.
Giselle, with choreography by Marius Petipa, (after Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot) is the most celebrated ballet of the romantic era, and a perennial favourite that continues to move audiences all around the world 170 years after it was first performed.

El origen de la palabra pirueta proviene del francés piruette, la cual viene a significar la tapa que hace girar, mientras que en cambio en el Ballet Clásico viene a significar dar vueltas sobre una pierna. Es un movimiento que los bailarines o deportistas utilizan para sorprender a su audiencia o jueces, girando más de una vez sobre el eje longitudinal.

reLy on: Danse – Vidéo – Tanztheater
Stage franco-allemand du 24 septembre au 4 octobre 2010 à Lyon avec les chorégraphes Be Van Vark (Berlin) et Pierre Meurier (Toulouse), et le vidéaste berlinois Alexi Papadopoulos.
La recherche chorégraphique s’articulera autour d’images de Lyon et d’ailleurs, à travers des témoignages rassemblés dans le cadre du projet “Urban delights” développé par la Cie tanztheater-global.
