Una de las academias de danza contemporánea mas aclamadas en los Estados Unidos, The Paul Taylor Dance Company, se ha asociado con Talenthouse con el fin de encontrar dos bailarines, quienes obtendrán una beca para el curso intensivo de verano en la ciudad de Nueva York.
Joseph Gorak, a member of American Ballet Theatre’s corps de ballet, was named best male dancer at the Ninth International Competition for the Erik Bruhn Prize, held in Toronto on Saturday, March 5, 2011.
Gorak and corps de ballet member Christine Shevchenko danced the pas de deux from August Bournonville’s La Sylphide and Divergent Connectivity, a contemporary work choreographed by ABT corps de ballet member Nicola Curry. Curry competed for the Choreographic Prize, which was added to the competition in 2009.

American Ballet Theatre will premiere an all-new production of the Igor Stravinsky classic The Firebird, with original choreography by Alexei Ratmansky, on March 29, 2012 at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California, it was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.
We are excited to invite ballet Teachers and Students to Mansur Kamaletdinov’s one week seminar focusing on Teaching Methodology for all three levels of classical ballet training.
Students are welcome to attend on the days appropriate for their level of training. Teachers are encouraged to attend for the full week as this seminar will provide teacher training in the Vaganova method, the knowledge to construct a class program for each individual level and create a natural progression for students to advance in their training. Teachers are welcome to bring one student, apprentice or student teacher free of charge.

Fondazione Teatro alla Scala announces the selection of male and female corps de ballet dancers for fixed-term employment during the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 season, or for individual productions included in these seasons. The applicants necessarily need to take note of the official selection notice in order to verify all the requisitions for admission and the schedule of the audition.

Dancers Responding to AIDS (DRA), a program of Broadway Cares, Equity Fights AIDS, is proud to present the sixth annual Dance from the Heart, featuring 19 dance companies and Broadway artists in four performances, two per evening, March 21 & 22.
Among those scheduled to appear are New York City Ballet's Ashley Bouder and Amar Ramasar performing with Avi Scher & Dancers; Marcelo Gomes, Maria Riccetto, Sascha Radetsky of American Ballet Theatre, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, and Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble, to name a few.
