PRINCIPAL CASTING ANNOUNCED FOR AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE’S THE NUTCRACKER AT BAM HOWARD GILMAN OPERA HOUSE DECEMBER 14-31, 2011.

Veronika Part and Marcelo Gomes to Lead Opening Night Cast Sarah Lane, Hee Seo, Joseph Gorak and Eric Tamm to Debut in Leading Roles.

Principal Dancers Veronika Part and Marcelo Gomes will lead the opening night cast of American Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House on December 14, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. Choreographed by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, the holiday classic will be given 22 performances through December 31 at BAM.

Para su nueva campaña publicitaria global, la aerolínea internacional Air France lanzó un spot desarrollado por la agencia BETC Euro RSCG.

L’Envol -nombre del spot- está inspirado en una coreografía que forma parte del ballet Le Parc, del francés Angelin Preljocaj, quien incluso colabora en este proyecto publicitario.

Phèdre y Psyché: Mitos griegos en « salsa » ruso-francesa.

La “rentrée” del Ballet de la Opera de París se ha efectuado –en realidad, el pasado 22 de septiembre y no el 21- en la Opera Garnier con la reposición de “Phèdre”, un ballet (1950) de Serge Lifar que no se asumía desde 1977, y el estreno mundial de “Psyché”, de Alexei Ratmansky.

Los Ballets Rusos de Diaghilev, 1909-1929. Cuando el arte baila con la música traerá a Madrid el espíritu renovador de Serge Diaghilev y su prestigiosa compañía de danza. A través de 200 objetos que incluyen carteles, vestuario, elementos para las coreografías y escenografías, el visitante se adentrará, a partir del 16 de febrero, en la noción de obra de arte total propugnada por Diaghilev.
