El festival, desplegado a lo largo de cuatro meses, está organizado por el Ayuntamiento de Oviedo. El precio de los abonos para las siete funciones oscila entre los 112 y los 198 euros.

The Australian Ballet has returned to the rehearsal studio this week in preparation for the company’s landmark 50th anniversary season in 2012.
Artistic Director David McAllister has kicked off the festivities by announcing the 50th Anniversary Ballet Project.
Laurencia, the dynamic and colourful ballet based on Lope de Vega’s play, seems to have been created especially for Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev, who recently joined the Mikhailovsky Theatre company.
Choreographed by the legendary Vakhtang Chabukiani, this ballet continues the tradition of the Spanish classics, while giving the dancers the opportunity to demonstrate their presence and letting their mastery shine through.
Natalia Osipova will appear as Laurencia and Ivan Vasiliev as Frondoso in performances scheduled for 20 and 22 January.

L’Opéra national de Paris a conclu avec la société zePASS (filiale de Digitick, elle-même filiale de Vivendi), première place de marché de billetterie d’occasion en France, un accord pour la création d’une billetterie d’occasion permanente pour tous ses spectacles. Celle-ci se présentera dès le 9 février 2012 sous la forme d’un site Internet intégré au site officiel de l’Opéra www.operadeparis.fr.
Après une année 2010 qui avait enregistré de fortes hausses en termes de fréquentation et de recettes, les résultats de l’Opéra national de Paris poursuivent leur progression en 2011.
Ainsi, l’Opéra national de Paris a accueilli à l’Opéra Bastille et au Palais Garnier en 2011 plus de 795 000 spectateurs soit une augmentation de 1,7% par rapport à l’année précédente. La fréquentation de l’Opéra national de Paris est donc supérieure à celle de tous les théâtres nationaux français1 réunis.

"Inspiring, passionate, intense and true to himself – these are the first words that spring to mind when I think of Rudi. The words ‘passionate’ and ‘energetic’ are often used too easily nowadays, but they are perfect – and even unavoidable – when describing Rudi. His life was devoted to dance, and without him dance in the Netherlands would have looked completely different.
