After the double-bill Marguerite and Armand and Concerto DSCH, the Ballet Season at Teatro alla Scala will continue in September and October with Cranko and Petipa, with Čaikovskij and Glazunov: on stage Onegin, (for nine performances from September 7th) and Raymonda (from October 3rd to October 13th).
The New Ballet Season 2012 – 2013 will start in December 2012 with the Scala premiere of Sasha Waltz’s Roméo et Juliette.
Ballet Hispanico, recognized as the preeminent Latino dance institution in the United States, presents the return of its groundbreaking choreography institute, Instituto Coreográfíco, held June 4 -15, 2012 at the company's headquarters at 167 W. 89th Street, NYC. This year's Instituto Coreográfico features choreographers Rosie Herrerra and Abdul Latif with panelists Richard Chen See, Francesca Harper, and Risa Steinberg.

The Eglevksy Ballet Names David Wes Sadowsky Executive Director
Janine Racanelli, the president of The Eglevsky Ballet’s board of trustees, announced that David Wes Sadowsky has been appointed executive director of the ballet company. Sadowsky, who grew up in Bayside, NY and now resides in Manhattan, has been active in the dance world as a teacher, choreographer and as an arts administrator. He was artistic director of his own company, David Wes Dance, which was named a “Must See” by the Boston Metro and a “Dance Pick of the Week” by the Boston Globe.

Se buscan actrices y actores para la producción teatral germano-argentina Multitudes con la que se inaugurarán los Festivales de Berlín el próximo septiembre de 2012 en la capital alemana
El Festival Foreign Affairs, organizado por los Festivales de Berlín, busca niñas y niños de entre 7 y 11 años, jóvenes de ambos sexos de entre 15 y 20 años, mujeres y hombres de entre 20 y 50, y mayores de 60 años (con cabello canoso), así como músicos (sexo masculino), de entre 25 y 35 años (guitarra, charango, trombón y flauta).
Nueve compañías de danza contemporánea, clásico y flamenco participarán en Danza en la Villa. Se realizará dos homenajes uno a las grandes figuras de la danza del SXX y otro al gran bailarín y maestro Ángel Pericet.
Este año Danza de primera se celebrará dos días consecutivos y no uno como se venía realizando en anteriores ediciones, debido a la gran afluencia de público. La Plaza de Colón vuelve a ser el escenario con un espectáculo al aire libre.
