Fondazione Teatro alla Scala announces the selection of male and female corps de ballet dancers for fixed-term employment during the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 season, or for individual productions included in these seasons. The applicants necessarily need to take note of the official selection notice in order to verify all the requisitions for admission and the schedule of the audition.

Dancers Responding to AIDS (DRA), a program of Broadway Cares, Equity Fights AIDS, is proud to present the sixth annual Dance from the Heart, featuring 19 dance companies and Broadway artists in four performances, two per evening, March 21 & 22.
Among those scheduled to appear are New York City Ballet's Ashley Bouder and Amar Ramasar performing with Avi Scher & Dancers; Marcelo Gomes, Maria Riccetto, Sascha Radetsky of American Ballet Theatre, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, and Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble, to name a few.

4 représentations de Giselle (Jean Coralli et Jules Perrot) seront données à Singapour du 20 au 22 janvier 2012.

Si bien hoy por hoy coreógrafos « interesantes » no faltan, constatar que “el” William Forsythe del periodo del Ballet de Frankfurt no sólo puso una barrera para hacer “subir” de nuevo los límites del “código” demasiado alta sino que sentó el aserto de que, hasta nueva noticia, él fue el último coreógrafo a caballo todavía entre el siglo XX y el aún reciente XXI, es una certeza que se proporciona cuando se vuelven a ver sus obras de ese periodo frankfurtiano.

Career Transition For Dancers and Complexions Contemporary Ballet, present WINTER HEAT Latin Dance Party on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the beautiful Edison Ballroom (240 West 47 Street).
This is the 7th benefit evening that includes cocktails & hors d’oeuvers, three-course sit-down dinner, and open bar. It will include dancing to the sounds of Joe Battaglia and the New York Big Band. There will also be a special performance by Complexions Contemporary Ballet performing and excerpt for “Holiday.” There will also be Latin dance lessons from Dance Time Square ("So You Think You Can Dance" Choreographers Tony Meredith and Melanie LaPatin).
