El nuevo director de la Compañía Nacional de Danza (CND) José Carlos Martinez impartirá clases magistrales el 29 y 30 de enero en el Aula CAM de Alicante a bailarines profesionales, aspirantes a profesionales, estudiantes, profesores y personas interesadas en el mundo de la danza.
El objetivo de las clases magistrales es contribuir en la formación de profesionales y estudiantes de danza y promover un acercamiento con uno de los más brillantes intérpretes del ballet clásico internacional.

New York International Ballet Competition (NYIBC) celebrates the life and work of Ilona Copen, late Founder and Executive Director Emerita. A special feature of the evening will be the presentation, at the Dinner Dance, of the first Ilona Copen Award to Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride, in honor of their contributions to the lives and artistry of young dancers, and to the world of dance in general.
POLINA SEMIONOVA TO APPEAR AS GUEST ARTIST WITH AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE FOR 2011 SPRING SEASON AT METROPOLITAN OPERA HOUSE.
Polina Semionova, a principal dancer with Berlin State Opera Ballet, will debut as a Guest Artist with American Ballet Theatre for the 2011 Metropolitan Opera House season, it was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie. With ABT, Semionova will perform Kitri in Don Quixote at the matinee on Saturday, May 21, opposite David Hallberg as Basilio, and the dual role of Odette/Odile in Swan Lake on Saturday evening, July 2, opposite Hallberg as Prince Siegfried.

La Fundación del Teatro Fortuny de Reus (Cataluña) convoca el V Premio Internacional de Danza Roseta Mauri y el II Premio Coreográfico Roseta Mauri que tendran lugar del 15 al 19 de marzo de 2011 y cuyo jurado estará presidio por el bailarín Ángel Corella.
