Del 27 al 30 de octubre pasado se ha llevado a cabo, en la ciudad de Colima, occidente de México, el Encuentro Nacional de las Escuelas de Danza de Educación Superior, organizado por el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL), la Universidad de Colima y la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC).

Dies Irae de Marta Carrasco
Dies Irae de Marta Carrasco es un espectáculo donde el Réquiem de Mozart se convierte en una misa de difuntos irreverente y grotesca.
La pieza, coproducida por Temporada Alta y el Festival de Otoño de Madrid, se estrenará en el Teatro de Salt los próximos 28 y 29 de octubre. El montaje está interpretado por 13 bailarines, cantantes y actores de Barcelona y Madrid, en un intento de crear sinergias entre las dos ciudades.

El Auditorio de Tenerife acogerá por segundo año consecutivo el Foro Estatal de la Danza.
Los próximos días 2 y 3 de noviembre el II Foro Internacional de la Danza que organiza el Ministerio de Cultura, a través del Instituto Nacional de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música (INAEM), con la colaboración del Cabildo de Tenerife y del Gobierno de Canarias.
Festival de Danza de Holanda
La reina Beatriz de Holanda, acompañada de los Príncipes Herederos y varios familiares, inauguró ayer por la noche en una ceremonia de gala una nueva edición del Festival de Danza de Holanda, que este año lleva el título de "50 años de retos en la danza ", en referencia al quincuagésimo aniversario de la fundación de la afamada compañía de baile Nederlands Dans Theater.
Arison Arts Foundation – AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE
American Ballet Theatre is the recipient of a matching grant in the amount of $500,000 from the Arison Arts Foundation. The gift, announced on October 7at the opening night gala of ABT’s Fall season at Avery Fisher Hall, will support ABT’s pre-professional programs including the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, ABT II and apprentices in ABT’s corps de ballet.
