Del 27 al 30 de octubre pasado se ha llevado a cabo, en la ciudad de Colima, occidente de México, el Encuentro Nacional de las Escuelas de Danza de Educación Superior, organizado por el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL), la Universidad de Colima y la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC).

Dies Irae de Marta Carrasco es un espectáculo donde el Réquiem de Mozart se convierte en una misa de difuntos irreverente y grotesca.
La pieza, coproducida por Temporada Alta y el Festival de Otoño de Madrid, se estrenará en el Teatro de Salt los próximos 28 y 29 de octubre. El montaje está interpretado por 13 bailarines, cantantes y actores de Barcelona y Madrid, en un intento de crear sinergias entre las dos ciudades.

American Ballet Theatre is the recipient of a matching grant in the amount of $500,000 from the Arison Arts Foundation. The gift, announced on October 7at the opening night gala of ABT’s Fall season at Avery Fisher Hall, will support ABT’s pre-professional programs including the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, ABT II and apprentices in ABT’s corps de ballet.
