All Women are the Same, or The School for Lovers. When Lorenzo Da Ponte is the teacher, the lesson is a hard and cruel one, even if Mozart cannot help bestowing his grace on the implacable display. Under the gaze of a pair of sorcerers' apprentices, two brothers and two sisters lose themselves in the alchemy of desire. There are false soldiers, false Albanians, a false doctor, a false notary, but above all false appearances and false friends… And feelings are supposed to be forever and the heart unfailingly constant? The rules get twisted and there are no winners in this game of masks and dupes.
