A sumptuous reworking of the well-loved tale, Cinderella is the second in a trilogy of three full length fairy tale ballets from Ashley Page since his arrival at Scottish Ballet. Cinderella boasts a distinct theatrical vision, with highly inventive choreography created especially on the Company.

Conceived by Ashley Page and Antony McDonald  – Music: Sergei Prokofiev.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland will bring a famous story and its equally famous characters to the ballet stage.

The Victorian childhood of Lewis Carroll's Alice and her encounters with extraordinary people, strange creatures and unusual events gives The Royal Ballet an entire new world to create, and also gives a great chance to see the whole Company on stage in new guises.

16th Annual International Screendance Festival

The American Dance Festival (ADF) is pleased to announce a call for submissions for the 16th Annual International Screendance Festival. Directed by Emmy nominated director, dance filmmaker, and curator, Douglas Rosenberg, the International Screendance Festival was created as a platform to showcase recent developments in the field, as well as historically relevant work.

The Genée International Ballet Competition 2010 finished in top form with the Final performed to a sold-out auditorium, held on Sunday 21 November at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London.

Cape Town – 2011: In 2011 the Royal Academy of Dance in association with the City of Cape Town will present the Genée International Ballet Competition 2011 from 29 September – 9 October 2011.
