Empieza la temporada 2011-12 de El Petit Liceu

La programación de El Petit Liceu mantiene año tras año el compromiso con los niños y niñas así como los adultos que los acompañan, para acercar la música y las artes escénicas con propuestas y espectáculos variados, imaginativos y de gran calidad artística.

Son once los espectáculos de la programación de El Petit Liceu para esta temporada 11/12. Desde los clásicos de Comediants La petita Flauta Màgica, La Ventafocs y Allegro Vivace, a los también de gran éxito Els músics de Bremen, El Superbarber de Sevilla y El gato con botas, así como los espectáculos de danza Petruixka y IT Dansa y el espectáculo para los más pequeños La primera Cançó.

Danza Ballet® Revista de Colección en La Galerie de l’Opéra de París.

La Galerie de l’Opéra de París, ubicada en el corazón del Palacio Garnier, es una biblioteca- multimedia- boutique, creada exclusivamente para albergar lo mejor del mundo de la ópera y el ballet. Es un espacio de 270 m² que fue diseñado por el arquitecto Bruno Moinard.

Concluyen las funciones de Elektra con un índice de ocupación de sala del 96%.

Semyon Bychkov volverá al Teatro Real para dirigir una nueva producción de Parsifal y varios conciertos. Comienzan en Gante los ensayos de C(h)eurs, espectáculo original de Alain Platel que se presentará en Marzo.

Se estrenará en 2016 la ópera El otro, de Alberto Posadas, basado en el drama homónimo de Miguel de Unamuno.

BERTHE MORISOT. La pintora impresionista

Colección del Musée Marmottan Monet, París

El Museo Thyssen‐Bornemisza presenta este otoño, por primera vez en España, una exposición monográfica dedicada a la artista impresionista Berthe Morisot. Gracias a un importante acuerdo de préstamo, se exhibirán más de treinta obras procedentes del Musée Marmottan Monet de París, junto a otras pertenecientes a las colecciones Thyssen, que permitirán descubrir una pintura elegante y luminosa a través de paisajes, escenas cotidianas e íntimos retratos femeninos.

Del 15 de noviembre de 2011 al 12 de febrero de 2012.

Danza Ballet Revista de Colección en la Biblioteca Octavio Paz del Instituto Cervantes de París.

La Biblioteca Octavio Paz del Instituto Cervantes de París nos concede el honor de difundir y coleccionar nuestra revista Danza Ballet Revista de Colección.

El Instituto Cervantes es la institución pública creada por España en 1991 para la promoción y la enseñanza de la lengua española y para la difusión de la cultura española e hispanoamericana. Se encuentra en Madrid y en Alcalá de Henares, España, lugar de nacimiento del escritor Miguel de Cervantes. Los centros del Instituto están situados en los cinco continentes.

Preparations are under way for the Mikhailovsky Theatre Grand Prix, the annual show-competition for students at Russian schools of choreography.

This year’s ‘Competition of High Hopes’ (as it is known among ballet professionals) will bring together students and teachers from Moscow, Perm, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ufa, and St Petersburg. Ballet-lovers will be able to experience the talents being nurtured in Russia’s leading choreographic schools during the young dancers’ performances on 30 November and 1 December.

In honour of the 15th Anniversary production of The Nutcracker, choreographed by former Artistic Director, Stephen Jefferies, The Hong Kong Ballet invites students, designers and creative talents to join a design project based on the theme The Nutcracker – ‘Dreams and Inspiration’.

Moments In Time – two world premières by Chinese choreographers

The Hong Kong Ballet commissioned three of today’s most promising contemporary choreographers, Peter Quanz, Kinsun Chan and Fei Bo to create new ballets for the Company – the result is a trio of powerful, thought-provoking ballets. The creative process continues as Kinsun Chan and Fei Bo have started rehearsals in Hong Kong to share their vision with the dancers.

All three works will be featured in Moments In Time, to be staged at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre’s Grand Theatre from 4 to 6 November 2011.

AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE ANNOUNCES 2012 SPRING SEASON AT METROPOLITAN OPERA HOUSE MAY 14-JULY 7, 2012.

NEW PRODUCTION OF JOHN CRANKO’S ONEGIN AND NEW YORK PREMIERE OF THE FIREBIRD BY ALEXEI RATMANSKY TO HIGHLIGHT SEASON.

American Ballet Theatre’s 2012 season at the Metropolitan Opera House and lead casting was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie. A new production of John Cranko’s Onegin, with scenery and costumes by Santo Loquasto, and the New York Premiere of Alexei Ratmansky’s The Firebird will highlight the 2012 Spring Season.
