Roger Pic, un Photographe à l´Opéra (1959-1970)

L'Opéra national de Paris et la Bibliothèque nationale de France (Bibliothèque-Musée de l'Opéra) sont heureux de vous convier à cette première exposition virtuelle, consacrée à l’œuvre photographique de Roger Pic : quatre galeries thématiques pour découvrir les temps forts de la vie de l'Opéra dans les années 1959-70, saisis par l'objectif du photographe ; quatre textes pour mieux comprendre la révolution qu'il a initiée dans l’histoire de la photographie de scène.

Dans l’histoire de la photographie de scène, il y a eu un avant et un après Roger Pic. Né en 1920, Roger Pinard, de son vrai nom, découvre le théâtre dans les années décisives de l’après-guerre.

BOLSHOI BALLET PREMIERES PREMIERES OF THE 2011/12 SEASON

2011/12 Season – this is the first season we will be working again in two theatres – the New Stage and the Bolshoi Theatre Main Stage, now open after refurbishment. Throughout the season, work at the Main Theatre will be concentrated in two directions – presentation of new operas and ballets and a revival of the Theatre’s historic productions.

A few days after the ceremonial opening of the Main Theatre 2 October 2011, The Bolshoi will present its first premiere of the season – Tchaikovsky’s THE SLEEPING BEAUTY in a revival by Yuri Grigorovich (first night 6 October) with new sets by the famous Italian theatre designer, Ezio Frigerio.

La entrega de la famosa estatuilla, produce una de las noches más entretenidas o aburridas de la televisión. ¿Cómo catalogaríamos la del 2011? Hubo de todo un poco.

Es imposible hablar de los Oscar y sustraerse al hechizo de las modas. La Alfrombra Roja, tuvo esta vez gran competencia en el color, que sobresalió en los modelos de Jennifer Hudson (vestida por Versace), Sandra Bullock (Vera Wang), Jennifer Lawrence (Calvin Klein Collection), y Anne Hathaway, en una de sus múltiples apariciones (modelando un Valentino).

Akram Khan Company presenta VERTICAL ROAD

El Mercat de les Flors presenta Vertical Road, el nuevo espectáculo d’Akram Khan, interpretado por ocho bailarines de los cinco continentes (entre ellos, la bailarina catalana Eulàlia Ayguadé). Con música de Nitin Sawhney, el coreógrafo británico dr origen hindú habla, a través del movimiento puro, del camino entre el plano terrenal y el espiritual.

Inquedanza en el teatro Bergidum de Ponferrada

Mas de 800 personas presenciaron las dos actuaciones de Inquedanza y la Camerata Ars nova en el teatro Bergidum de Ponferrada.

El público premió ampliamente el trabajo de ambas compañías con más de 5 minutos de aplausos tanto en la representación del Sábado como en la del Domingo, alabando tanto la puesta en escena, como la labor interpretativa de ambas compañías y destacando en especial la labor de los intérpretes solistas: la violinista Ana Sánchez en el apartado musical y los bailarines Adrián Sánchez, Lara Gonzalez, Cristina Mallo y Cristina Santamarta en l aparte de danza.

Miss. Akane Takada is new hope of Royal Ballet. She was awarded Critics’Circle National Dance　Awards, UK, as finalist; OUTSTANDING FEMALE PERFORMANCE (CLASSICAL) in 2011.

Most of us remember her excellent expression at Prix de Lausanne in 2008. At the end of last autumn, I could see her in London.

Fallece en Madrid Ángel Pericet

El bailarín y coreógrafo Ángel Pericet, director adjunto del Ballet Nacional de España en los años 80, ha fallecido hoy en Madrid a la edad de 85 años.

Medalla de Oro de las Bellas Artes en 1992, Pericet vio reconocida su trayectoria artística por las labores de estudio, creación e investigación sobre la Escuela Bolera.

El Mercat de les Flors inicia el ciclo DAN DAN DANSA de esta temporada con el espectáculo Mischief (travesuras) de la compañía británica Theatre-Rites en colaboración con el prestigioso coreógrafo Arthur Pita. Una fascinante mezcla de danza, arte visual, marionetas y payasos recomendada para niños y niñas a partir de 5 años. Mischief ha ganado diversos premios y se ha podido ver en numerosos teatros del mundo.

Se podrá ver en el Mercat el sábado 5 de marzo a las 17:30 y el domingo 6 de marzo a las 12 horas.

The New McCartney/Martins Ballet to Premiere at NYCB’s Fall Gala on Thursday, September 22, 2011

New York City Ballet announced today that Sir Paul McCartney and NYCB’s Ballet Master in Chief Peter Martins will collaborate on a World Premiere ballet for the Company’s 2011-2012 season. The new ballet, which will premiere at NYCB’s Fall Gala performance on Thursday, September 22, 2011, will mark the first time that Sir Paul has written an original orchestral score for dance.
