The Management of the RUDOLF NUREYEV INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION came to the conclusion that the circumstances of the current financial crisis forsed us to postpone the Competition in this year.
In the present economical, financial crisis very gravely struck our organization too. Several private and corporate sponsors stepped back in spite of a written declaration of intentiors.
Several private and corporate sponsors stepped back in spite of a written declaration of intentiors. We are really very very sorry, we really worked very hardly to get a going on with this Competition. We know that this is a very negative news but we can not help at the present inpass.
However we try again in the future, in the next year 2011.
We postpone the RUDOLF NUREYEV INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION for one year later, March 2011.
We are a private non-profit organization and we absolutely depends on sponsorial and /or Goverment support and the loss of it, made the present financial trouble.
Dear Competitor, We would like to express our deep thank you that you choose this competition.
We know you worked hard. The reasons more or less are lays at the present cultural government administration who presently make a deep cut into the arts – and loss of promised founding of finances – mosthly theater, opera and of course in this case ballet. This spare programme made us to do this desperate final steps.
However we would reckon on you in the next Competition. We consider your application on hold for our (hopefully) next one in March 2011.
Accordingly your application is remain already accepted, and we will be provide you hotel accommodation and per diem in full time in the Competition (independently of your elimination) and you don’t have to pay registration fee. We know that this is very few compensation for your hard work, but we ask your understanding and in the course of time we will inform you in due time.
