“RUSSIAN MASTERS HELPS TO MAKE ONE MORE DREAM COME TRUE: HUGO MARTÍNEZ HAS BEEN ACCEPTED TO THE STATE BALLET SCHOOL OF BERLIN”
Our best references are the achievements of our students. The main idea that all is possible when the work is well and professionally done really works!
One of our dearest student Hugo Martinez from Madrid, thanks to Russian Masters´ intrepid director Asyia Lukmanova, has successfully got over tough entrance exams to one of the best ballet schools in Europe – the State Ballet School of Berlín. There are already three Russian Masters´ students who got this opportunity, the unique chance in the life of any ballet dancer. They are – Ana Maria Espadas (Murcia), Paulina López (Barcelona) y Hugo Martinez (Madrid). German administration has granted these excellent students with a scholarship.
Here is the testimony of Hugo´s father, Mr. José María Martínez:
Hello. I am father of Hugo Martinez and I would like to share with all ballet students the venture that my son has just started. Hugo started to dance when he was 9 in the Conservatorium Mariemma in Madrid and after the first year of professional grade he left it to start classes with Victor Ullate whose Foundation had granted him a scholarship.
Last summer Hugo was very lucky to participate in the RUSSIAN MASTERS BALLET CAMP in Alicante. The classes that he received from the most distiguished tutors of Russian Ballet Companies had a decisive influence in Hugo´s ballet progress. They helped him to discover and develop the best of his hidden potential. In November this year due to professional advice of RUSSIAN MASTERS´ director Asyia Lukmanova, we decided to go out of Spain. And thanks to valuable contacts and negotiations of Asyia Lukmanova, the State Ballet School of Berlin accepted to make an extraordinary audition for Hugo in the middle of the school term. Hugo has been accepted and started his studies in this schools which is the best in Germany and one of the most prestigious in Europe and in the world.
The State Ballet School of Berlin gives secondary education together with ballet studies and grants 100% scholarship for both. School classes finish at 4 p.m. the majority of days of the week (academic studies are alternated with ballet). In this way the schedule is very comfortable and there is no negative impact on Hugo´s efficiency. This fact brought an extraordinary improvement in Hugo´s quality of life and in his selfesteem as now he is able to be more efficient without being exhausted every day. Multicultural atmosphere of the School is very enriching. There are students from over 30 countries of the world. Ballet classes are only for girls or for boys, to take better advantage of training. There are 9 boys from different countries in Hugo´s group: Germany, Spain, Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Camerun, Japan, Australia and USA.
This School is the principal base that brings up future ballet dancers for the tree main Ballet Companies of Berlin and of other cities and countries. From the beginning and during the whole carreer the students dance at the Berlin Opera with State Ballet Company which is actually directed by the Spanish ballet dancer and choreographer Nacho Duato.
We have been able to prove that Russian Masters Ballet´s international prestige and especially of its director Asyia Likmanova makes it possible that best ballet schools and Ballet companies of the world are ready to take notice of a student if it is presented by her. And in this way have a rare chance to be accepted to auditions or even be enrolled to ballet schools or sign a contract as a ballet dancer. I am completely sure that Hugo would not be able to enjoy now all the advantages of studing in Staatliche Ballettschule of Berlin with all perspectives that it supposes for him if he had not participated in RUSSIAN MASTERS BALLET CAMP.
We met only two more Spanish students in the same school. They are Ana, entered in 2014 and Paulina in 2015. They also entered due to Russian Masters´ advice and support and thanks to training received from Russian Masters´ tutors and from its director Asyia Lukmanova as well as it happened with Hugo. This is the main chance Hugo had ever had in his life. It supposes total change in his career approach. And it opens him the perspectives as a ballet dancer and in his personal life that he even could not dare to dream about by now. I assure you that Hugo´s life has changed radically and I have never seen my son so happy. Every new day he discovers inside and develops new aptitudes and abilities he has never known he had. On the other hand it would be not fare if I don´t mention that Hugo also made a huge and great work! His attitude to ballet can be summarized in one word:
“PASSION”. He lives in and for ballet, and can´t conceive his life without ballet. I know that, like Hugo, many of you have the same passion. And I would like to transmit the following idea: The next venture can be yours and it may occur at any moment. You only have to believe in your dream every day, and take advantage of every opportunity to improve yourself so that when the chance arrives you would be ready.
Russian Masters – the facts are more eloquent than words
