Cádiz en Danza llega a su décima edición
En este año se celebra la décima edición del Festival CADIZ EN DANZA, que durante cinco días, del 27 de abril al 1 de mayo, ocupará toda la ciudad con los lenguajes más diversos de la danza.

Cavalleria rusticana y Pagliacci en el Teatre Liceu
Del 1 al 20 de abril se representará en el escenario del Liceu dos de las óperas de más éxito del verismo italiano: Cavalleria rusticana de Pietro Mascagni y Pagliacci de Ruggero Leoncavallo.
El Gran Teatre del Liceu dedica estas funciones a Jaume Aragall con motivo del 50 aniversario de su debut con el rol de Beppe de Pagliacci el 14 de diciembre de 1961.

La saison 2011/2012 du Ballet de l’Opéra national de Paris
La saison du Ballet réservera autant de surprises : Brigitte Lefèvre, directrice de la Danse, s'attache tout autant à la tradition de cette troupe légendaire qu'à son besoin naturel de création. Le spectacle d'ouverture confrontera la Phèdre de Serge Lifar, Georges Auric et Jean Cocteau à une création du chorégraphe russe Alexei Ratmansky. Jean-Guillaume Bart revisitera une des créations de l'Opéra au XIXe siècle, La Source, en compagnie de Christian Lacroix. Les Etoiles, les Premiers Danseurs et le Corps de Ballet pourront montrer l'éclectisme de leur talent en présentant tour à tour des chorégraphies de Pina Bausch, Sasha Waltz, Mats Ek, John Cranko ou Rudolf Noureev.

HISTORIC RENOVATION OF NEW YORK CITY CENTER
New York City Center, dedicated by Mayor LaGuardia in 1943 as Manhattan’s first performing arts center, today begins the final phase of its historic renovation and restoration. Designed by Ennead Architects LLP, (formerly known as Polshek Partnership Architects), the renovation will preserve and restore the landmark 1923 building’s historic features while modernizing and upgrading the facility to create a world-class cultural center. A gala re-opening is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25, 2011.

In the Philharmonie in Berlin on Tuesday 29 March, Daniel Barenboim and Sir Simon Rattle conduct works by Tchaikovsky and Brahms. The concert will be broadcast live online in the Digital Concert Hall of the Berliner Philharmoniker.
