Ballet Hispanico, recognized as the premier Latino dance institution in the United States, announces a community performance in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month at The LaGuardia Performing Arts Center (LPAC), at 47th Avenue and VanDam Street, Long Island City, Queens on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11:00am. Seating will begin at 10:30am. The event is free and open to the public.

Joan Pons, debutó en el Liceu en noviembre de 1970 cantando a Aida como miembro del Cor del Gran Teatre del Liceu.

La saison chorégraphique 2012-2013 s’inscrit sous le signe du renouvellement. Le Ballet accueille son nouveau directeur artistique dont la carrière internationale promet une ouverture toujours plus large sur l’Europe et le monde. À compter du 1er janvier 2013, Ivan Cavallari succèdera à Bertrand d’At, en poste au Ballet de l’OnR depuis mai 1997. Sa nomination a fait l’objet d’une concertation entre les villes composant le Syndicat intercommunal Opéra national du Rhin (Strasbourg, Mulhouse et Colmar) et l’État.
