As part of his Company C Contemporary Ballet's 10th Anniversary celebration, founder/director Charles Anderson, former member of New York City Ballet, announces a season in New York City, May 18-20 at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, presenting ballets by Anderson, Ben Bowman, Gregory Dawson, and David Grenke.

La Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent consacre sa 17ème exposition aux costumes du théâtre japonais Kabuki issus de la collection Shôchiku Costume. Ils seront accompagnés d’accessoires, estampes, photographies et films documentaires, et présenteront cet art théâtral né au Japon au XVIIème siècle.

NEW YORK CITY BALLET MUSIC DIRECTOR FAYÇAL KAROUI TO STEP DOWN AT CONCLUSION OF 2012 SPRING SEASON
New York City Ballet announced today that the Company’s Music Director, Fayçal Karoui, will step down following the Company’s 2012 Spring Season. The French-born Karoui was appointed NYCB’s fifth Music Director in December 2006.

English National Ballet’s Beyond Ballets Russes season continues the collaborative spirit of Diaghilev, by bringing together people of great creativity to re-imagine some of the iconic Ballets Russes ballets.
The epic space of the Duveen Galleries will be buzzing with life as English National Ballet animates Tate Britain’s Picasso and Modern British Art exhibition.
Inspired by Picasso’s visionary costume and set design work with the Ballets Russes, this collaboration offers a rare insight into how English National Ballet rehearses repertoire and creates commissions with a week-long programme of participatory workshops, talks, ballet classes, rehearsals, performances, and the opportunity to draw from life.

RAYMOND LUKENS NAMED DIRECTOR OF AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE’S NATIONAL TRAINING CURRICULUM
Raymond Lukens, Artistic Associate of the ABT/NYU Masters program and a faculty member of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre, has been named director of ABT’s National Training Curriculum. His appointment is effective immediately.
