The Bavaria State Art Award, established in 1965, is awarded annually in various categories including music, dance, literature, the visual and performing arts. On November 18, State Minister Dr. Wolfgang Heubisch will award Gözde Özgür for her achievement in the dance.

English National Ballet’s annual choreographic programme is devised to provide our dancers with the opportunity to explore their choreographic skills and create original pieces for studio performance.
This years choreographic culminated in a showcase performance at Markova House when six dancers showed work they had created.

El XVI anual Festival Internacional de Ballet de Miami (IBFM) se está llevando a cabo desde el 26 de agosto y hasta el 18 septiembre de 2011 en diferentes teatros de la ciudad.
El Festival se dio inicio con la presentación del Poster oficial de esta edición del evento creado por el artista cubano Arturo Cuenca y la estatua "A Life for Dance Award" elaborada por el escultor cubano Michel Hernández. Participan las compañías de danza contemporánea: Balletto Teatro di Torino, Italia, Gabriele Rossi Dance, Italia, Luna Negra, EE.UU., India Foro Cultural Mundial, India.
Con participación especial de Alicia Amatriain y Jason Reilly del Stuttgart Ballet.
Con la dirección musical del maestro Javier Logioia Orbe, al frente de la Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón, y con la reposición coreográfica de Agneta y Víctor Valcu, esta versión de Onieguin contará con la participación especial de Alicia Amatriain y Jason Reilly del Stuttgart Ballet quienes bailarán en las funciones del 28 y 31 de Agosto.

After refreshing holidays the dancers of the Bavarian State Ballet have returned to daily class and rehearsals. With the motto “Very British!?” the 2011/2012 season will present works of the most important British choreographers, both classical and modern.
