Stuttgart Ballet´s 50th Anniversary Celebrations will be celebrated with a three week long Festival from February 4th to 27th, 2011, in the Opera House and Kammertheater of the State Theater Stuttgart.
The Festival will feature current highlights from the company's repertory, three guest companies closely associated with the Stuttgart Ballet, a festive Gala, an International Directors Conference, an Alumni Reunion as well as activities for families and teenagers.

Dance Proms is a partnership project between the IDTA, ISTD, RAD and the Royal Albert Hall working together in celebration of dance.
Registration is now open for Dance Proms, a national celebration of dance, dancers and dance teachers. UK members of the Royal Academy of Dance, the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) and the Imperial Society of Teachers and Dancing (ISTD) are invited to video and submit a short dance piece online featuring an original piece of choreography performed either as a solo, couple, trio or group performance by their students in any dance genre.
Foundations for the Future
On 4 January in London and 17 January in Sydney, the RAD launched its new Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate syllabi. Luke Rittner, Chief Executive of the RAD, opened the proceedings on both occasions introducing the Key Note Speakers: Christopher Hampson, renowned choreographer, in London and RAD Vice President and Artistic Director of the Australian Ballet, David McAllister AM, in Sydney.
During the jury deliberations, the audience can watch a short performance by former prizewinners and dancers from our Partner institutions. This year the Prix de Lausanne is honoured to welcome dancers from two Partner Schools and Principals from two Partner Companies:

The Intensive Summer Dance
(July 7 – July 21, 2011) is a two-week program in ballet, modern and contemporary dance. The program is open to students all over the world who love dancing and have significant experience in Ballet or Modern dancing. The students must be 15-18 years old during the time of the program.
Both English and Hebrew are spoken in the program.

NEW YORK CITY BALLET ADDS PERFORMANCE OF SWAN LAKE DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND.
New York City Ballet announced today that due to popular demand the Company will add a performance of Peter Martins’ full-length production of Swan Lake to its 2011 winter performance calendar.
The additional performance will take place on Friday, February 11 at 8 p.m., which will now be the first of nine performances of Swan Lake that NYCB will perform this winter. The production will continue with the following performance schedule: February 13 at 3 p.m.; February 16 at 7:30 p.m.; February 17, 18 and 19 at 8 p.m.; February 20 at 3 p.m.; February 22 at 7:30 p.m.; and February 26 at 2 p.m.

Bailarines coreógrafos: algunas promesas en ciernes.
Desde hace trece años, doce programas “Bailarines coreógrafos” (“Danseurs chorégraphes”) han tenido ya lugar en el Ballet de la Ópera de París, como vitrina para exponer el trabajo coreográfico de los integrantes de la compañía. Esta 13. Edición, ahora, presentada en el anfiteatro de la Ópera Bastille, consistió de diez obras: solos, dúos o para pequeños grupos, interpretados por los bailarines de la agrupación.
