This special exhibition is dedicated to the life and work of the legendary dancer and choreographer Rudolf Nureyev (1938–1993). It will showcase more than 80 costumes and 50 photographs from the dancer’s personal collection, entrusted to the Centre national du costume de scène by the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation, and will incorporate key loans from active ballet companies.

The Hong Kong Ballet will present the beloved classical romantic ballet The Sleeping Beauty from 15 – 17 March 2013 at the Auditorium of Sha Tin Town Hall.
We are inviting talented young people to audition for roles in the production – successful applicants will have the chance to share the stage with our Company dancers and they will also meet and rehearse with the Choreographer Cynthia Harvey, former Principal Dancer of American Ballet Theatre and the Royal Ballet, in one of the rehearsal sessions.

The Japan Media Arts Festival is a comprehensive festival of media arts that honors outstanding works from a diverse range of media – from animation and comics to media art and games.
Since its start inception in 1997, the festival has recognized significant works of high artistry and creativity, and in addition to a yearly Exhibition of Award-winning Works has held other events, such as symposiums, screenings, and showcases in February.

Smuin Ballet en Nueva York: Un visitante de interés.
Recuerdo cuando Michael Smuin bailaba en el American Ballet Theatre (ABT) años ha, después de haber pertenecido al San Francisco Ballet, y aparecido también en Broadway y shows de la T.V. Después de su retiro, en 1994 estableció en el área de San Francisco su propio conjunto, que llamaría Smuin Ballet, impartiendo a la compañía su vasta experiencia en obras clásicas, así como en estilos modernos y populares.

Esta exposición muestra 60 fotografías realizadas por el reconocido fotógrafo de moda Manuel Outumuro a modelos creados por Cristóbal Balenciaga entre 1935 y 1968. Los modelos retratados pertenecen a la colección de la Fundación Cristóbal Balenciaga y constituyen un magnífico ejemplo de la mejor creación del modisto de Getaria, desde la destacada influencia parisina de sus primeros años hasta la calidad arquitectónica de sus diseños de los últimos años 60.
